I’m just saying … it’s all about the search.
Here are some wimgo search tips to share with your friends, family and pet fish Wanda. In other words, here’s how to find what you need to know about the goings on in Oklahoma, when you need to find it. Whether you are planning a road trip across Oklahoma or a Friday night out on the town, wimgo is the answer. From sports events and live music, to museums and movies, wimgo covers all topics, for all ages. And don’t forget all the exciting events entered by you, the Oklahomans who will be connecting with each other through this in-depth, but not overly complicated network. Kinda like this blog. Kinda like me. (Just call me matter-of-fact!) Alrighty, enough of that, let’s get wimgoing.
1. Wimgo search is easy schmeezy. Type a search word or set of words, some people call them tags, into the search box and hit enter or click the “GO” button. A set of events matching those words will appear.
2. Wimgo will only return events that include ALL of your search terms. Translation: Fewer search words will result in a broad search, more search words will result in a narrowed search.
3. With wimgo there’s no need to include “and” between terms, wimgo does that automatically. It’s like magic.
4. Sometimes you’ll only want wimgo results that include an exact phrase. In this case, simply put quotation marks around your search terms.
5. Use words that are date specific to find wimgo events on those dates or you can also use the handy dandy “pick– a–date” calendar. It’s the little box inside the search box. Date specific search examples: Today, tomorrow, weekend, Feb 15, February 15, 2/15/2008 PS: “February” will return events for the entire month of February. Try it. It’s cool.
6. To exclude a word or words from the wimgo search use “-” in front of the word or phrase.
7. Wimgo search is not case sensitive, but wimgo is. So, when you get your wimgo tattoo remember it’s, all lowercase w-i-m-g-o. And don’t forget the cute little green cube.
