Actually it’s more of a question…….. where did you get your idea, seriously, I would like to know.
I think I like it…..but it will take more time to figure stuff out. I’m an SC(senior citizen)and computers aren’t always friendly to me. I think it will be good though. And the google map is great.
Just learned today the exciting concept and potential of Wimgo. Beginning Monday, all of the non-profits and agencies I support will be advised to visit with Sue and team asap! Wimgo beautifully fills a much needed service.
Still some kinks, I guess… using a Mac may also be cuasing some issues with your ’submissions’ of forms and information…. but lookng forward to seeing how it all works and appreciate the depth of this endeavor! It’s a great start and I’ll use it daily!

The idea originated as a calendar with the OPUBCO leadership team. In the early phases, we envisioned a one-stop, central repository for local events. It expanded into what you see today and was influenced by ical, www.yelp.com, www.going.com, and some google resources.
Still browsing and trying to learn the features. It looks pretty easy so, for being 51 years old, I think I can do it.
This tool is much needed and comes at a great time. I will definitely be using it a lot!
BWeb - I would be interested to know what issues you are having on the Mac. We are going to keep making improvements to the site so your feedback is much appreciated.
My favorite feature is the movies. We built it to be very simple and get you what you want quickly and easily.
Please keep giving us your feedback on wimgo.
I like this because it’s local but I think blogging should be more flexible. Check http://frothytant.blogspot.com for an example.
I would also like to find out if there’s any interest in establishing some kind of computer competency community where those having computer skills can help those who don’t.
The Motorcycle show this weekend sounds like a great place to visit. We don’t even ride motorcycles but really enjoy looking at all the custom bikes.
To me it beats reading the paper for events and times. It’s at your finger tips 24/7.Good idea
This is an interesting site. There isn’t a good way to find out what’s going on in Tulsa. Hope this grows. Keep up the good work.
Sure wish announcments would include the price of admission for events.
LONG OVERDUE
major kudos to whoever put this together. I have always said, Oklahoma is so boring because there is nothing to do. well thanks to you’re team thats not so much the case anymore.
SUGGESTION:
A local artists gallery section for photographers/graphic designers/ and the like. Tulsa has a lot of talent, lets share it with so everyone can appreciate it.
Just created an event, but did not realize I was creating a profile for the venue as well. How can I edit the information for the venue, because I did not fill it all out.
The person who made the dynamic google map rocks!
That is all. Proceed.
