A friend of mine had tickets to the Spamalot musical at the Civic Center Music Hall and the two of us went out Tuesday night. I’ve never been much of a musical theater fan, but Spamalot was a great experience.

Spamalot is a nationally touring musical and winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical. I love that the program notes drop the hint that it was “lovingly ripped off from the film classic ‘Monty Python and The Holy Grail.’” If you’ve seen the film, I think you’ll love this musical.
