I’m in Norman again for a video shoot on the OU campus. I got here early so I’m catching up on some work here at the Starbucks off Campus Corner.

Like anyone else who does a majority of their work on a laptop, coming across a free wifi spot is like finding gold. Now and then I’ll do some of my video editing at coffee shops around town and use their wireless internet. More often than not, I try to avoid Starbucks because of their contract with T-Mobile. Luckily, this Starbucks can access the free wireless network that OU has set up on their campus.

That being said, I’m told that Starbucks is dropping their relationship with T-Mobile and switching to AT&T wifi. I’m still not exactly sure about the details and the fees (if there are any at all) that go along with the AT&T wifi use, but still… This looks like a good thing.
