So a friend of mine called earlier this week with a problem.

She had an extra ticket to the Foo Fighters show at the Ford Center this Thursday night. Being the selfless, supportive, and kind friend that I am, I offered to accompany her to the concert. Disaster adverted.

UPDATE - We didn’t get into the show. There was a problem with our tickets and even after pleading with the powers that be, we left the mass of Foo fans learning a valuable lesson - you should probably pay attention when your intuition is telling you something isn’t right.

Thursday night should be a great show. I spent more time than I care to admit learning to play bass guitar to old Nirvana albums while in jr. high. Jumping ahead quite a bit, I caught an interview not too long ago with lead man David Grohl and NPR’s Fresh Air.
