Its not too often that I’m completely blown away by a movie, but dang… The Dark Knight was unbelievable. I’m already planning to go out and see it again in the next couple days.

The sold out 12:01am Friday showing at Harkins Theater in Bricktown was dotted with diehard fans who had dressed accordingly for the evening. Plenty of Batman masks and Joker fans with their clown make-up and freshly dyed green hair. I can just imagine sleep deprived movie goers waking up this morning still trying to scrub off their red smiles and black eye makeup before leaving for work.

I can’t say enough about the movie. Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker was outstanding. He pulls off this mentally deranged character that is so complex and completely messed up that you never know what is going to happen. Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne/Batman and Aaron Eckhart’s Harvey Dent/Two Face characters were great, but I’m pretty sure the Clown stole the show.
