where I’d like to be right now
I’m tired of the 100+ degree temperatures. Luckily I work in an air conditioned office most of the day, but I do get out in the heat for the occasional video assignment somewhere around town. We shot this a few days ago.
What seems like the biggest slap in the face though comes at the end of the work day during that brief walk/journey into the parking lot to find my car. I loathe that 5 minute trek through the outdoor convection oven call an Oklahoma summer afternoon.
It looks like there could be a break in the weather this weekend. But if you can’t wait that long, you might head up to Alabaster Caverns State Park in northwestern Oklahoma. David McDaniel, a photographer for The Oklahoman, lucked out and got to spend a few hours underground and out of the heat.
