Partners in the Sky Air Show
Made a trip up to Enid last week with Dave and Angi to shoot some video. We met with some Air Force personnel to talk about the upcoming Partners in the Sky Air Show October 4 at Vance Air Force Base.
The US Air Force Thunderbirds will be at the show this weekend. If you haven’t […]
Eagle Eye
I’ve heard some incredible reviews for the new Shia Labeouf film, Eagle Eye.
Jerry Shaw and Rachel Holloman are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations–using the technology of everyday […]
Robert Plant, Allison Krauss, and Mold-O-Ramas
Like Robert Plant and Allison Krauss?
Like to help out with those affected by Hurricane Ike?
Like monkeys, elephants (the pachyderms are on an extended date with their boyfriend in Tulsa), and those awesome mold-o-ramas you can only find at the zoo?
Well, I can help you with at least 2 of these. You’ll have to head to […]
fair food and the tattoo game
With parking traffic backed up for what seemed like miles, I think most of Oklahoma was at the fair Sunday afternoon.
One thing I learned from the Oklahoma State Fair this year - go with several friends and all chip in money to buy vender food. Seven of us went in together and kept from breaking […]
burn after reading
I meant to make it out to opening day for this one, but I’ll be spending the money on a State Fair trip this weekend. Hopefully Ike doesn’t rain it out.

I’m looking forward to The Helium Project series (plus I’ll be one of the guys filming the whole thing). The guys at RedHouse have this big idea of bringing together […]

the one time when corn and cinnamon rolls go together
Food is always at the top of the list in my Oklahoma State Fair plan of attack. You have to set your priorities when you have so many options.
1. corn on the cob
2. cinnamon roll
3. lemonade and/or jug of rootbeer
My parents got me hooked on the roasted corn on the cob and the cinnamon […]
post Labor Day fun/work
How did the Labor Day plans turn out? Anything exciting?
While some of my friends headed out to the lake for the last time this summer or just took advantage of sleeping in, I spent most of the weekend becoming a first-time homeowner. Google search and Home Depot were key in my learning to patch drywall […]
